Technical Support / Re: Wi-fi issues on Pilotaware FX
« on: June 18, 2025, 11:24:29 pm »
Home router is not on the same subnet

The wifi networks are on 2.4ghz but only show up sometimes on the scan

The phone does have password for home wifi.

The fourth light on the FX is blue, which I believe indicates no connection to iGrid server. But I can browse internet through the Pilotaware wifi connection indicating it is connected to internet through my home broadband.

Also when I connected to my iphone hotspot I get the same - no igrid connection.

Technical Support / Wi-fi issues on Pilotaware FX
« on: June 18, 2025, 10:21:33 pm »
I have been having a couple of issues with Wifi connection:

(1) I connect to Pilotaware network on my phone and through Pilotaware setup at 192.168.1.1 I connect to my home broadband for iGrid but I don't get iGrid connection. However, internet works on the phone through the Pilotaware indicating Pilotaware is connected to the home broadband. iGrid status remains red on status page.

(2) When away from home, I don't seem to be able to get Pilotaware to show any Wifi networks when I scan for networks even when I know there are several in close proximity.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I updated firmware and am still receiving the same error

I updated the firmware on my pilotaware FX and it now claims that my
Licence expired despite the licence being valid until November 2025. I try re-entering the licence code and still get the same message. What is going on? I emailed support but no response

Technical Support / Re: No connection in Skydemon

I am just following up on the query above. The first day I tried the Rosetta it would not work with UDP or Auto - only Flarm. However, I tried the next day - with no changes to settings - and it worked fine. I haven't tried since. The only difference I can think of is that the battery was better charged on the second attempt.

Yes I have. And it is clearly connected because otherwise I assume I would not be able to connect using the Flarm option in Skydemon.

Technical Support / No connection in Skydemon - RESOLVED
« on: February 27, 2020, 03:45:58 pm »
I have just purchased Pilotaware Rosetta and am having connectivity issues in Skydemon on my iPhone. If I try to connect using the Pilotaware option, I simply get the message "Connecting to Device". However, if I switch the Pilotaware settings to Flarm (TCP) and then connect using the Flarm option in Skydemon then it connects fine. I saw a thread regarding a similar issue here: http://forum.pilotaware.com/index.php/topic,1206.0.html  but could not see a solution posted.
