General Discussion / ARF Aerial Socket fitted incorrectly.

Took my PilotAware unit to Telford for a test with known working units.
No transmit or Receive from my ARF.
At home had a look at the aerial and socket.
I had fitted the socket with a spacer and the supplied lock washers.
Unfortunately this meant that the aerial could not be screwed far enough on for the center conductor to connect.
Removed the thick lock washer so that there is a gap between the aerial plug and the socket securing nut when the aerial is fitted.
Need a good flying day now to test again.
