Breaks in Track recording
« on: May 22, 2022, 10:22:41 am »
On several recent flights there have been breaks in the recorded Track files. PAW appears otherwise to be working normally - traffic is visible, the PAW continues to provide the GPS source for my tablet, and playback on PAW Grid appears normal. I have not been cleaning out downloaded track files - should I be doing so, is there a problem with track memory capacity? I attach a couple of track recordings from yesterday, the first is the complete record with several breaks, the second has been truncated for size but shows at the end the single jump on that flight from 123529 to 124013. Classic PAW, ID 40263C.

Hi Trevor
We have an upcoming release that may address this issue
Regarding track deletion, the unit will automatically delete the oldest if it starts to run out of space, but feel free to delete yourself
Thx

Thanks as ever, Lee. I had wondered whether the process of deletion took time, hence gaps - but will clean up in any case as I have already downloaded.
