I wanted to see some quick progress, so built a system with ADS-B, Wi-Fi dongle, keyboard and monitor I already had kicking around. I have an ARF board but awaiting digole and other parts to arrive from China.
I loaded yesterday's software and it installed and ran through the startup checks as expected, but failed with the Wi-Fi. Specifically, error messages included:
"Starting advanced IEEE 802.11 management: hostapdSegmentataion fault" and
Error for wireless requirest "set to Tx Power" (8026)
Is there any way to easily tell if this is due to the wrong Wi-Fi dongle hardware? I plugged it in to my Mac and also attach a screenshot from the system report. It's a Realtek 802.11n device but no further details.
