On ground close to LFBO, with some masking due to buiding I was in.
Traffic displayed distant as far as 50 Nm FL 350

A321 AFR F-GTAT taxiing in, while EZY A319 taking off RWY 32R to LFRS

Air Nav Pro displays distant traffic in grey white/transparent triangles, quite hard to spot upon a stuffy map layout.
I suppose real threats are displayed in more vivid colors.

Air Nav Pro 6.0.2 on iPad 2 mini iOS 9.2.1, external GPS BadElf Pro bluetooth connected
Raspberry pi B+ with ADSB dongle and wifi dongle, purchased and configured just as per instructions

I have a PA unit in the Gers (LFDH), but I have not used it in the air. I can pick up airliners quite well. I think it would be more useful in the Toulouse area as light aircraft are increasing being equipped with ADS-B mode S transponders. I see DA40s from Muret on FlightRadar24.
