Section for Rosetta FX questions

Any plans to add a new section to this forum for prospective Rosetta FX users to ask questions?
Or is there a FX forum elsewhere?

Hi Tony,

No specific plan to do so at present. I would expect any questions (or comments) about FX to be posted in either the General Discussion or Technical Support Forum as appropriate - on the same way as has historically been the case with PAW Classic and  Rosetta. Just include a reference to FX in the subject heading to make it obvious that you are asking specifically about FX.

If a particular benefit or advantage in keeping FX posts separate becomes apparent, we will reassess the need for separate Sections. I can easily move FX posts to a separate section later if required. In the meantime you can search the Forum for posts including the reference FX.

Was there something in particular you wanted to ask about?

Best Regards

Peter

There was a question posed by a SkyDemon user (on that forum) regarding loss of SD internet connectivity when using the FX.
SD uses "in-flight" internet connectivity to show winds aloft, latest weather etc. within the SD program, and that loss of capability would be a shame.
That got me thinking if there was a forum dedicated to the FX....

Hi Tony,

The FX now runs Router Mode as standard. This means devices connected to FX, like iPads running SD, can now gain access to the internet through FX.

There is an explanation of this in the knowledge base.

Kind Regards,
