Don't power up without main antenna.

Going to have to add this to the instructions.

"Radio transceivers can be damaged by being powered up without an antenna, do not power up your PAW without it's antenna"

Haven't had one damaged, just someone mentioning that they were doing so.

You can remove the ADSB if you really want to for some reason.

A very good point Dave. As a radio ham and ex fire service comms instructor, I was aware of this and concerned that people might for example try to use the auto update procedure without the P3i aerial connected, which could presumably 'pop' the Bridge.

I had thought of switching to base station mode to disable the bridge tx, but this would be too easy to forget, so had to resort to the old method to put in the last update.

I just need to get hold of a p3i antenna now as I am using my 'test' bridge on a FLARM dipole in the plane, so don't have one.

It won't be a problem with PAW radio, only a few hundred mW... it's only a concern with higher power amplifiers, although with modern power amps they can tolerate it these days.
