ADS-B to OGN

Will PilotAware also be able to transmit ADS-B positions to (OGN) Gliderradar in the future? So far, only the FLARM data transmitted by PilotAware can be seen there. Other data providers have recently started sending ADS-B data there as well.

Hello Keith, that's a shame, of course, since the hardware is already there, is not being used to anywhere near its full capacity, and is being sent to OGN anyway. All you really need to do is run dump1090-fa (which is probably running in the background anyway) and add the following information to the config file:

-----------------

ADSB: # feeding Open Glider Network with ADS-B traffic

{

  AVR = “localhost:30002”;

  MaxAlt = 18000; # [ft] default maximum altitude

};

HTTP:

{

  Port = 8082;

};

-----------------

One more question about the newer Raspi HAT for the ATOM ground stations that was announced a long time ago. Is there still something coming, or has it been scrapped again?
