FLARM to change protocol
« on: March 12, 2024, 05:51:04 pm »
The FLARM protocol for all devices will change shortly.
Not to worry, we have already pushed out a change to the entire network to handle the new format

Thx

Hello
during my last flight in France the flarms were not visible although I activated the connection sharing as before.
Has anything changed?
gliders were available with safesky

Hi Lee,

Does that only affect the Network, or do individual PilotAwares all need software updates too (bearing in mind that some might still be running ‘pre-auto update’ software)?

By safesky directly

FLARM encryption has changed and this is affecting the OGN as stations are manually updated.

I can't see this would affect SafeSky <-> SafeSky comms...
