What does the red flag mean? And how do I fix it?

Hi Peastlake,

I’m getting a bit of a ‘deja vu’ feeling here - surely we have dealt with this issue before - last May in fact, when IIRC Ash supplied you with a free replacement 1090 dongle, which presumably resolved the issue at that time - see previous thread here…

Are you saying that the replacement 1090 dongle supplied by PilotAware last May has also now packed in? If so that seems strange as they usually have a far longer lifespan. Have you carried out the checks suggested last time round as detailed in the previous thread. If not can you please do so and let us know the results. Replacements are of course available from the PilotAware Store on the PilotAware Website… https://www.pilotaware.com

Best Regards

Peter

Hi Peter.

Of course, I remember the problems I had with the Rosetta “out of the box” last year. But I’d forgotten the error then was the same as this time!

I will go back and carry out the checks suggested last year next time I’m at the airfield. Quite happy to buy any replacement parts that might be required this time, as the unit’s no longer new!

Thanks

Paul
