PWNYMPS up and running

After several precarious hours up a ladder on the clubhouse balcony we managed to get our new Atom/Grid station at Nympsfield (Bristol & Glocs Gliding Club) up and running today, so hopefully it will help with Glider/Flarm visibiity in the Severn Valley. Many thanks to Keith & Co for providing the base station....

Well done guys! Good to see another new station on the Grid.

Looking at Glidertracker, initial Traffic is a bit ‘light’, but of course the station has only been up for less than a day. Initial reports from the PAW Range Tools are already indicating good range and pretty much reception all round out to 40-50 Kim’s on both FLARM and PilotAware, which bodes well for future ongoing performance. I will watch with interest.
