PilotAware screen recordings
« on: February 28, 2021, 12:17:06 pm »
Hi,

Here are a couple of screen recordings that I made on the 24th December, this was more the trial run to see if the screen recording method worked on the tablets. I discovered that the screen recording, using AZ Screen Recorder keeps the recording in Landscape if it starts in Landscape even if the screen is in Portrait.

The sky was quiet whilst I was flying with just a few other aircraft showing up, the whole flight from take-off to shutdown at the pumps is here, but the majority of the activity is in the first half, although some may show up whilst I was in circuit towards the end.

Whilst I was chilling around the hanger and as the local circuit was busier, I made another recording (within range of the Tatenhill OGN-R station). The first half of this video has a lot of ADS-B capable aircraft on it, the second half is mostly Mode-S retransmission. I was aware of another rental aircraft that was doing circuits that has a Mode S transponder fitted but did not show up.

The PilotAware is located centrally at the top of the windscreen and the Sky Echo is vertically on the right side of the windscreen.
