Hi Eveyone

First I wish you all the best for this New Year and of course Fly SAFE.

I wanted to introduce myself. I fly on MCR ULC on Cholet AirField (LFOU - FRANCE) and although I got a Zaon PCAS. I want to set up my bought Rosetta in my Airplane

My equipment :
Skyview, Garmin 795 & Skydemon app on Galaxy Tab ; Becker Transponder BXP6402 with ADSB-Out feature (still to be activated ;) )

I wanted to know if you have :

  • REX/RETEX on using Rosetta in France and
  • Arguments to set it up internally or externally. My plane is FULL composite carbon fibre.

Do not hesitate to MP me to talk about it

Have a good day

Take care

Benoit

NB : if they are some French users around this forum, maybe it could be possible to create a community and tease other French Pilots to use Rosetta and lobby for it by FFPLUM or RSA (French LSA Pilot Association),and why not a dedicated French Section. But I am dreaming it's the beginning of the Year ;)

Hi,
I’m a French user of Rosetta since the beginning.
Would be nice to chat together.
Kind regards.

I'm a French user since the beginning of PilotAware (when it was do it yourself, I might still have the parts somewhere).
The system is installed in a Vans RV-7 with external antennas.

Hi Both,

From his posts on another thread, it appears that Benoit changed his mind and sold his PilotAware Rosetta again. He didn’t give a reason, though I suspect lack of other users local to him.

It would be good to hear from more PilotAware users in France and for you to get together and perhaps add a French Users Group to this Forum.

I was going to attempt to post this ‘en Francais’ but my written french is regretfully even more rusty than my spoken French.

A Bientot

Peter
