The large aerial on my rosetta PAW has come apart. I can probably poke the coax centre wire back in and snap the thing together but will this work or do I need a new aerial and if so where can I buy one?

You can buy a replacement (finer tuned and IMO better quality) 869.5MHz Rosetta Antenna from the PilotAware Shop on https://pilotaware.com .
