5v/3A power requirement. OK if on an external source, but a pain if on something hard wired like a TA102.

Even if it does work, what advantage would it give?

Hi Vic,

Thanks for the notification. Lots of obvious improvements, though after his considerable development workload over the past year, and with other significant developments still in the pipeline, I’m not sure Lee will be rushing to support this new version - so don’t all rush out and buy them!

Regards

Peter

I think a number of potential issues with this board

- power requirements
3A, wow, I am sure this is due to multiple HDMI etc

- form factor
it will not fit the case  :o

- usb-c
interesting, but we have no peripherals requiring 1.2A

As Peter says, no rush to use this Pi3B and Pi3B+ have more than enough capabilities for what we are using. Sounds like this is really aimed at the desktop PC power user

Thx
Lee
