20190621 upgrade (SOLVED)
« on: June 23, 2019, 04:27:36 pm »
I have the original PAW not Rosetta. Ive just tried to upgrade to version 20190621. The extract seemed to work but ive just tried to connect to PAW using 192.168.1.1 but it failed. SD cant see it either. Im not sure whats gone wrong unless it isnt compatible with the old hardware and I have to upgrade to Rosetta to use this version. If that is so can I just reinstall the previous version?

Thanks. Problem resolved. I reformatted the SD card and started again. Also plugged in HDMI screen, keyboard and mouse to Rasberry Pi so I was able to see the install complete. BTW Im using a 16GB SD card.

Just a quickie to reasure some folks; It took me two attempts to get my Rossetta working with the upgrade. No wifi popped up after a couple of hours first time round, so simply powered down, reformatted the SD, reloaded the files and went again. Worked fine this time. Remember that if you want the Mode S 3D, you specifically have to enable it, same for bearingless contacts. Now been running for about 24 hours with no hint of falling over, which on previous release was not possible. Thanks to the team for the improvements.
