Web radar circle background color
« on: February 19, 2019, 01:40:59 pm »
Hi,
I'm wondering if is it possible to have an automatic change  of the web radar background colour of the inner circle in green, orange, red as displayed for the C/S bearingless traffic when it is in range.
Or if is it possible to have the circle lines flashing in different colors as a bearingless traffic is approaching.

Ciao

I'm sorry for my bad english.
You can see what I mean here

at 5:40 In skydemon the circle around the aircraft symbol change in color when a bearingless traffics approach
at 8:30 In the web radar you have a tab on the top left corner when a bearingless traffics approach

Regarding the web radar, I was wondering if is it possible to have, in addition to the left corner tab,  a background color changing from black to dark green, dark yellow, dark red), or a circle bold line changing in color, as you can see on skydemon. I suppose it will be more noticeable by peripheral vision, so the pilot don't need  to be involved in continuos monitoring of the screen.

Hi Mariko,
If I understand you correctly, then what you are asking, is the way it works today
The banner in the top left corner will change from Green -> Yellow -> Red as the threat increases, the same as the colored rings in SkyDemon

Does this make sense ?

Thx

Oh yes, but I would like to see changing the color of the entire screen of the web radar, or better, the inner circle background.
(by the way... the corner is on the right  ;D )
I will try to make a scratch tonight....

What if you have two bearing-less targets? It's no good changing the whole screen even if you did change it for the highest priority target. You then wouldn't know what priority the second target is.

For a radar screen I quite like the way James is doing it on the Aircrew instrument:

Ok, I'm a new pilotavare user so Please be patient with me.  :) i was just wondering if it would be any visual Aid To catch the pilot attention to the web radar screen when a traffic aproach.

In the meantime I decided to get Skydemon, so I don't need to use the web radar anymore  :) :)

Edit: i've seen the "enanchment request" thread! Sorry!
