Flight logs are uploaded on the aircrew website

Lee would need the link to see it. Is it this one: https://aircrew.co.uk/playback/15bd5c ?

TRK file: https://aircrew.co.uk/playback/uploads/15bd5c/track.trk

Attached is the dropbox link.

As in the other cases above, when the track is run through Aircrew, these aircraft don't appear, so I would guess there is something in the interface with SD that is causing this.

The reason why you don't see N95GT or F-GYKL on the Aircrew playback is because they are bearingless targets. You can see G-JFRV and G-EUXD on aircrew playback. I'm not sure why SkyDemon is showing bearingless targets as aircraft?

If you look at the track file if the 3rd field after the $PFLAA is empty then it means its bearingless

Any idea when this will be out, available and PAW compatible?

An official announcement will be made in next few weeks about release date so stay tuned and will have full PilotAware Classic/Rosetta support either over WiFi or wired right from the get go. Any new PilotAware features such as ModeS-3D will be added with software updates.

I presume this will have a lead direct from the PAW unit, with no wifi required. Just switch on, and use.

You can plug directly into the USB of the PAW unit to get both traffic and power if you don't want to use WiFi.

But what would the power-draw be, of the 80mm multi-function attitude display?

When screen is on full brightness and using WiFi the device draws 300mA at 5V

Might I suggest (for glider purposes) that the PAW-display also has the compass-rose around the exterior,

There will be an option in the traffic screen settings to show the compass-rose and either to use the GPS track of the PAW or the magnetic heading of the Aircrew.

Aircrew will be available to buy through PilotAware shop, and an announcement will be made when available.

There will be some more information available on the Aircrew website next week including a video of device in action.

exfirepro,

I only recommended the full reinstall as it seems he tried both the Ethernet and memory stick method

The PilotAware.pgp is definitely saved on my USB stick, and it's plugged in to the 1 spare USB

I also tried the 'connect to lan cable and wait' update method, but that won't work either,

Yes, so if you want to do this make sure you copy down your licence key and other settings

Hi Richard,

If you have a MicroSD to USB or any other means to plug a microSD you could try a full reinstall

Step 1) download "Full Installation Image" from http://pilotaware.lode.co.uk
Step 2) Take the Micro SD card out the PAW located at the back and plug it into a computer,
Step 3) Click accept at the bottom of here and install SDFormatter https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/eula_windows/index.html
Step 4) Run SDFormatter and select the Drive letter that is the MicroSD (if you open up my computer it should be called Recovery and then a drive letter next to it)
Step 5) Open up the PilotAware.zip file, open up the PilotAware.2016.1201 folder and copy everything inside that folder onto the MicroSD card.
Step 6) Plug it back into the PAW and it will take 10-20 minutes to automatically reinstall. You can watch the progress by plugging a HDMI lead into the PAW and then into a TV or monitor but this isn't necessary

Hi Moffrestorer,

The green line is the relative altitude between you and the plane, the longer the line, larger the vertical separation, this screenshot should make it easier to see how everything is being rendered

If the aircraft is below you then the line colour changes to blue, and if it is within the set warning distance it will flash. All of this will be configurable though.

Is the intruder location in azimuth denoted by the position of the plain end of the green line on the range ring surface?
Yes, this is correct
