I have had a few problems with pilot aware I am not picking up any transponder traffic or radio traffic I am only getting high altitude traffic.I am using runway HD I fly a 600 kg aircraft at and around 2000 feet

Technical Support / IOS 10 - Legacy WiFi issues

It appears that in the latest version of IOS, it does not work well with lagacy networks in mode B.
The default settings for PilotAware are mode B Wifi.

If you have upgraded to iOS 10, I suggest changing this to mode G WiFi

I ran an app on an iOS 10 device reading the stream of data from PilotAware, and there was some horrible stuttering in the communications, I think Apple have totally messed up their legacy support for mode B.

So I recommend changing to mode G for the WiFi connection, I think we will probably make this the default setting in the future releases.

Very interesting solution - I am seriously considering it for my SkyDemon.

I do have an EFIS equipped aircraft that is able to display traffic from a serial input (usually ADSB).  Do you have plans for serial output ?

Whilst using pilotaware I am getting constant warnings about my own aircraft.  How can I disable to avoid false warnings?

Looks like some folks have configured their PAW as a basestation and connected to their router, you are ahead of the curve.
I have a feed in from Abingdon and Cambridge as far as I can tell ....

I think I have a problem 3 times I have used it with skydeamon and end up with another a/c in the same position as me 0 0 I have to drop 500 ft to clear but no exit track for it just disappeared the last ones reg started gce is there a glitch in the program ?
Can I have done this on the setup ?

Technical Support / Problem accessing mode C

I bought a pilotaware at Syweel last week but am struggling to get any targets, which may be because i'm not set up for mode C which does not come up as an option in the configuration as shown in the manual. What can I do to rectify this?

Big, big thanks to Simon and Graham.
Dominic and myself got into a situation with a split carb rubber whilst down at Compton Abbas
Luckily these folks got us out of a sticky situation
