Technical Support / Rosetta "await radio start"

flew to Gloucester today PaW / SkyDemon worked fine
couldn't connect SkyDemon for flight back :(
took the unit home
powered it up here
can connect to unit over its WiFi, but still can't connect SkyDemon
logging shows "(14:02:09) MAIN    : Await Radio Start"
note the actual time is 16:59!!
is something broken?
how do I fix it?
what else do you need?

Technical Support / Track Logs written to SD card

A general query
when does PilotAware actually write the track log to the SD card?
I ask as it my habit to power off my Rosetta (along with all the other avionics) before I shutdown the aircraft

would be a shame if that's exactly when the track log was being written away!

flew to Gloucester today
first flight since February
Rosetta fine all the way there
came to fly back, couldn't connect
thought it might have got too warm in the sun
took the unit home, tried there
nothing
tried to take the SD card - it was red-hot!
then tried powering up without a card
Rosetta still gets very hot very quickly

would tell you version and unit number, but I can't connect to it, of course!

aha - from the renewal - The software key for your unit with MAC address B827EBB49A89 is : 5D9F-25F6-EA6D-C190

any wise words?

I'm in the process of upgrading my Classic to new shiny Rosetta
thought I'd like to add FLARM
the link to FLARM documentation eludes me
so
a) which FLARM thingamabob do I need
b) how do I add it to my Rosetta?

Technical Support / licence update shows license still expired :(

I got an email with my license update
tapped in the key
hit save

still show license expiry as 20170614
what did I do wrong?

software version is 20160530
(next job is to update to latest shiny ...)
