Technical Support / P3I box on homepage
« on: October 07, 2020, 06:08:19 pm »
I have noticed that the P3I box on the homepage now gives percentages UP and DN [very small numbers] as opposed to numbers of transmissions and signals received.
I can't find this change in the op manual.
It happens on both my PAWs and is on other people's downloads on this forum.
Can you explain what these percentages mean?
Regards
Bob

I've just read your explanation of the new stuff coming out.
I dread to think how much time and checking it took you all to do this.
All those moaning minnies constantly demeaning [in another place] what you were doing must have been dispiriting.
I think we all [with some exceptions!] understand the limitations of any kit we use, but what you all have done is a great step forward.
I raise my hat.

Technical Support / Error message on UPTIME line
« on: April 25, 2018, 10:33:51 am »
On the home page Uptime line I am getting this :

  error=1 error_mag="Command not registered"

All seems to be working OK - tested with my other PAW unit. Not yet able to test in the air as my strip is still waterlogged!

Any ideas?

General Discussion / Planefinder

I came across this website:

https://planefinder.net

I was surprised to see my aeroplane had been tracked on several flights for part of the routes I flew.
I do not carry a transponder only PAW.

Is it getting its information from the OGN/PAW ground stations?
Big Brother is out there!
At least it is an easy check that my PAW is working with a good range.
