Technical Support / Saving radar screen settings

Is it possible to save the Radar screen settings, or keeping the same vertical and horizontal settings. I t always resets to 26nm and 50000ft. I’ve tried using the save option in the config menu but this doesn’t save the radar screen settings. I’m using igrid for my radar screen. Any help greatly appreciated

Technical Support / Voltage error message on iphone

I’m getting a Voltage error message on iPhone, while using it as hotspot for the radar screen/ I grid.
Everything is green on the Pilotaware Home Screen except red showing voltage error. However the radar screen seems to work very well with all the targets showing and any rain in the vicinity visible.
Also I can get the met and aircraft info up when needed. Any thoughts from the experts out there much appreciated

Technical Support / New software

I’ve downloaded the new software okay. However my iPhone 8 won’t link to the Rosetta. No extra network menu. I’ve followed the instructions as per notes. Enabled the mobile data and personal hotspot options and disabled airplane mode. I’m not sure how to pair the Rosetta to my phone. Once you’ve chosen a password how do you confirm it as mentioned in the notes. Any help from the forum greatly appreciated.

Technical Support / Audio/ new software

Loaded the new software yesterday, but seem to have lost my audio alerts. It’s a wired connection via a standard 3.5mm jack from audio panel. Was working ok before the new software loaded. Any help greatly appreciated.

General Discussion / New software I-Grid

I understand from the PA website that a new software is coming soon. It appears an extra USB port will be required on the Rosetta. I have an aircrew connected to the spare USB port and therefore no free port. Just wondering if it will be possible to still use  this new addition to this excellent system.

Technical Support / Mode S and vector

Mode S is not showing on Vector. Pilotaware and Skyecho2 giving reasonable results. No complaints from ATC about my Garmin transponder. Some colleagues with the same problem. We are based in the East Midlands. Any help much appreciated

Technical Support / Some Targets not appearing on Skydemon

I have had a Rosetta and Skydemon for a few years and just added a Skyecho2 to provide ADSB out only.. I have noticed recently that aircraft I’m warned about on my audio do not appear on my Skydemon as a visible target.. I don’t think that mode s transponding aircraft are appearing on the iPad/Skydemon, although some aircraftI do show up. I have checked the home and config page and all 4 boxes are green. Any help greatly appreciated

Technical Support / My own aircraft on SD as a bearingless target.

Since I am on the new trial software,whenever I fly, my own aircraft
Appears as a bearingless target. Sometimes with a red circle sometimes with a yellow
Circle and sometimes with a green circle. The registration letters are always correct.
I have ticked the mode s/c + filter box in the configure box. Any help
Greatly appreciated as this has been occurring for weeks and is rather annoying

General Discussion / Version 20170223

I have just downloaded the latest software 20170223 on to a flash drive. It appears to have worked ok but some of the options in the configure page are missing. I.e. No options for 1:Display traffic info 2: Mode-C/S Traffic 3:volume control. Can you please help.
