    I recently upgraded to Rosetta and Pi3B but my licence has stopped working I have re booted etc re entered the licence but still no luck can you help it was working.!

Does a OGN Ground station setup with PAW receive a transmission from an aircraft with PAW?

Technical Support / A Bug or Not S/D to FLARM Connection

Hi Team,
       Came across something new  today. Its the first flight I have done today after the new SkyDemon and PAW updates. I set S/D to PAW connection. (original connection type, FLARM) Sadly I could not get it to connect to S/D (No GPS) so reverted back to FLARM connection within S/D settings, 6000 Key, and all worked again as it should. I tried it few times, same result.

Just do be clear on my setup. I'm using FLARM RedBox also for my  GPS source. OK Looking at my setup, I am using FLARM so It should be FLARM selected in S/D. but PAW is the WiFi connection to the Ipad so should it be PAW in the S/D settings?

This may be a Bug? Its not a problem for me but I just thought I would make Lee and the team aware of it. Sorry if you already know about it.

Hi All,
    Now here is a challenge !!!  Wouldn't it be cool if we could have our favorite navigation app running alongside the radar in one split screen on our Tablet device  I have looked already for this sort of app on Apple but there are only split screen browsers and not for running apps.  Any Ideas???

Technical Support / SOLVED! Mode S Rings

Hi,  Last week I updated to the latest version of PAW, flowed by a ground test and was presented with audio and the warning rings around the aircraft on Sky Demon. A flight today presented full audio warnings but no rings around the aircraft or the piggyback aircraft. Has anyone had a similar thing? The only difference is that Skydemon has had an update to the latest.

How are the tests coming along with Mode A/C? I had a too close a contact today which was probably Mode A/C ?

Will any of the nav software run directly from the RPI SD card along side Pilotaware? If it will could you not simply add a RPI touchscreen to have a all in one nav and traffic unit. Sorry if it's a silly question. Has any one tried to install nav  software and got it to run on a PI or will not. I would try but don't have a screen.

   I hope I speak for all early PAW members and welcome the new users of Pilotaware (PAW) as you, the new members, are thanking the PAW team for the work which as been achieved with Lee Moore at the head of the table.

   As we await for out ARF replacements voucher,  if anyone needs help, just ask your question hear on the forum and help will be suplyed from a wealth of knowledge in all areas.

General Discussion / PAW Updating

       Been having a little problem with there PAW update. Current version is 20160507 is there a fault with this version? The version before update function from the PAW web interface worked OK, Now trying again from version 20160507 to the current version 20160511. Connecting PAW direct to router with no other devices connect to the router (on Its own) the web interface freeze on the Ipad. I have  plunged in before power is turn on and also resetting the Router to obtain it gets an IP Addresses but it just freezes every time. Once disconnected from the router all is well again, Un-able to update.

General Discussion / Test flight from Sherburn (EGCJ)

If the weather is suitable I will conduct a test flight of my PAW on Sunday 22nd November. I hope to be in the air at around 11:30. Routing along the Humber to the east. Then south about 2 miles inland to Skegness. Nothwest towards Sandtoft. I will be transmitting ADS-B output too for the NATS Test flight. It would be interesting also to receive any PAW transitions too.  Aircraft G-IRPW HEX 405F26
