Hi,

i had time last weekend to play with Rosetta's BT and my Bose A20 Headphones.
Pairing was very easy but i found no way to control the volume level which was very very low.
Tried almost everytihng but had no way to change volume both from rosetta nor headset.

Anyone had the same experience ?

Technical Support / Re: IoS SkyDemon 3.12.9.191 and Rosetta

Hi Lee,

Rosetta is already configured as you suggested.

I can test the "Auto" setting just to see if there is any difference.

I'll let you know.

Technical Support / IoS SkyDemon 3.12.9.191 and Rosetta
« on: August 28, 2019, 03:59:28 pm »
Hi,

i had a problem using the latest skydemon release on an Ipad : from the 3.12.9.190 SkyDemon wait forever if the connection with rosetta is lost.
It happened to me that to power off Aircraft and rosetta toghether,  leavinsg SD in navigation mode  (and getting the  usual "connecting device" message).
When i powered on again  Rosetta (15 minutes later) SD was still in "connecting device" status but did not reconnect automatically.
I exited SD, checked wifi connections and verified that rosetta was running correctly through the radar page, all was good.
Opened  again SD and…. did not connect. Tried all the usual things like wifi on/off/on etc. but it was no longer able to connect.
Only when i powered on/off rosetta it worked again.

Very curious about the strange beaviour i tried to reproduce the problem and, yes it happens all the times.

Did something similar happened to someone ?

OGN-R PilotAware / Re: Version 20190418 and GS-OGN PAW Flag Missing

Lee,

Best regards

I agree with you both, OGN Netwok page seems to be not so accurate.
I did check in the dropbox link and it seems that the first station gone down for some reasons.
Now is up but i am not able to see it with my rosetta, in fact none of the two is visible by both my rosetta and PAW Classic.
But i see my Rosetta and PAW classic into the OGNPAW.
I have no idea on what to do  now, it seems OGNPAW station is receiving only but not transmitting in P3I frequency...

[UPDATE 19:45]
I monitored the 869.525 frequency with rtlsdr dongle and cubicsdr, what i discovered is that OGNPAW stations are not transmittig at all. Just at power on and boot some transmissions are sent and after that nothing else.
I found some random transmissions at 868.325 but don't seem to be related to P3I module.

Help is welcome

Best regards

OGN-R PilotAware / OGNPAW stations appears offline in gliders network
« on: April 19, 2019, 10:26:06 pm »
Hi,

from yesterday my two ognpaw stations are appearing offline in the ogn page (http://ognrange.unseen.org), stations are PWCarpi and PWCarpi2.
Both are up and running in two different locations with two different internet providers, software versions are both the latest one so i am wondering if someone else is having the same issues or if it is a problem of the Italian part of the network.

Technical Support / Re: Loss of connection (again)
« on: August 07, 2018, 03:56:30 pm »
Hi Federico

Firstly the GPS message is confusing, because it is unrelated to GPS, it is actually a WiFi connectivity issue

Can you confirm the following

1. version of Pilotaware you are running
2. Can you provide track files of your flight
3. If you are using Android devices, have you disabled the 'Battery saver mode'

thx
Lee

Hi Lee,

my Replies:
1. Is the latest official update  (but issue was present from the beginning)
2. I'll download the tonight, let me know wher should i send them
3. I used an androdi smartphone just once, usually use Iphone 7+ and ipad mini 4.

I am having the very same problem since a long time ago.
SD exits from navigation becuse "it did not get GPS for a very long time".
All is really working becuase my EKP-V connected through a serial converter is showing traffic properly.
Disconnections from my ipad mini happened from the very beginning, i tried all i could do including different power supplies/cables,  wifi and gps modules change, modules position swapping.
Same happens with my new ipad mini 4 and iphone 7+ and, yes i tried also with a Samsung smarphone with the same result.
Anyone having  other ideas on how to fix this issue is welcome.

Lee,

on the ground never had issues.

Tested several combinations for powering the unit including powerbank with 3 amps output but no changes.
