Hi,

Would it be possible that PAW sends the Hex ID to the FLARM Mouse with the $PFLAC command?

Could be just a send button in the Configuration Page

thx
Serge

General Discussion / Request for adding ClimbRate to $PFLAA

Hi

It would be good to have also the ClimbRate in the FLARM Output $PFLAA,
this gives a little arrow near the RelativeVertical in SD, so you can see the climb or descent of the airplane

$PFLAA,2,1500,1500,100,1,HB-XXX,270,,20,-4.4,8*

the information is available in the MSG 4 SBS string

Hi Peter,

I tried this weekend the PAW with following add. connections:
FlarmMouse connected to the PAW (USB<->RS232) -> FLARM-IN
FlarmLED display connected to the PAW (USB<->RS232) -> dynon traffic

I have not get any indication on my LED for ModeCS and ADSB but SkyDemon was showing bearingless targets with red ring, GPS and TX/RX indicator where working on the Flarm LED. Looks for me that the PFLAA/PFLAU is not passed correctly with dynon traffic.

How do you exactly connect the splitter?

Regards,
Serge

Hi exfirepro,

What versions have you on your devices?
iPad Mini 3
Samsung Galaxy S5

I am not able to get it work with different configs.

already tried, same result, no access to internet

7
done the same
Set Sony Xperia 5 as a mobile Bluetooth hotspot. Turned off Wifi, to force it to use 3G/4G
Set HP Slate 8 with Mobile data (3G SIM) off,  and WiFi Off, Connected to Sony hotspot and tested SkyDemon (SD) could get web based data. Passed that one.
Turned on Slate 8 WiFi and connected to PAW hotspot. SD can not get data from web.

so it could be a Android  problem :-(

Phone Sony, v6.0.1
Tablet HP Slate 8, v5.1.1
SD v3.6.3.28529

sorry between phone and tablet bluetooth tethering so you get live data on SD but it looks like PAW Wifi DHCP is not allowing it to have a Internet connection

Hi,
I try to use Bluetooth Tethering on my mobile phone to get live METAR, TAF, etc data in to my SD as Wifi is connected to the PAW, but it is not working.
I had other project with Wifi occupied (hostapd, udhcpd) and it was working with the Bluetooth Tethering, any ideas ?

okay cool, as soon I get my bridge I will do the testing,
renaming would be a good idea so its 100% clear what messages will be on the dedicated port

Hi,
Would it be possible to have PFLAA and PFLAU messages also on the Transponder OUT?
This would give the possibility to attach a FLARM Display to the system via RS232.
