Technical Support / Altitude offset in ADSB and mode C transponder
« on: January 16, 2020, 10:58:44 am »
Detecting ADSB and mode S on SkyDemon Altitude dysplayed is between 100 and 200 Fts lower than the real one .
I did lot of test and each time I have altitude error.
Is there a way to set up an offset altitude in PAW or SD

I have experienced same issue with SkyDemon
On ground trying to connect PAW to SKYDEMON as Pilotaware device it doesn’t work, as Rob said SD wait for device connection.
It works perfectly connecting PAW to SKYDEMON as Flarm device.

once it has been connected as Flarm I can switch to Pilotaware and it work, but time to time the link is lost.
I have the last version Pilotaware software and last version of SD

Yes Indid a reformât of SD card and install’the Last software as described in the manual.

If it’s Iphone or IPad wich blocks UDP mode do you know the way to solve it?

Hi Peter
I did what you told me, but it doesn't work in UDP mode (cf screen shots)
But in the other mode it seems working well.
What do you think?

Thanks for advice regarding licence key
Instead of micro SD, is it possible to do a full installation with USB key as I usually do for update?

Hi
I have the last software (January 2018), what do you mean by « full installation » is it something different than time to time update?
If it’s different,  tell me how to do it?
Thanks in advance

It happens each time I try to connect PAW to SD.
Is there a way to switch on PAW and SD,I mean is it important to switch on Paw first or not?
What about others options as connectivity options or more?
Ididn’t got any advise from SD OPS, they told me to contact Flight aware producer.
Thanks in advance for your support.
