Title: USB naming on Configure page
Post by: Gary Nelson on August 18, 2019, 06:46:46 pm
I have just noticed the 4 x USB settings on the Configure page have pre-set names you can choose, such as Flarm-in, Flarm-out, Transponder - Trig, etc, etc - does it make any difference to use them or just leave them named as “(auto)”

Not preset names as such, but preset functions. If you don’t have anything like a link cable to a transponder or display the leave as auto.

Thanks.,Is there any link to instructions on these pre-set functions - I just looked but couldn’t see anything.

Hi Gary,

This is the sort of thing these settings are designed for...

The last two paragraphs in the Operations Manual give some details, but the link to further information is not functional. My guess is the further info has not been written yet.
