Title: tech question

Using my new unit  set up at shobdon  I had 5 or 6 targets  in the sky demon screen  while I was stationary on the ground.
  two of the targets showed the aircraft  facing the opposite way to their direction of travel.  is that normal

As I recall, that was a bug in the firmware on one of the transponders, either Trig or Funke.
Steve Hutt may recall this issue

Assuming the other aircraft were in flight?

It was FUNKE transponders that need a firmware update. Not your problem🤔, but they may never know of the issue.
