Title: RTL-SDR antenna

Hi

Have just rigged my new PAW and connect an iPad/SkyDemon and it works perfect. Just ground testing so far.
I have one concern about the magnet inside the antenna-foot. My compass is not very far from the antenna.
Is it ok to remove it or is the magnet also a part of the ground plane for the antenna?

Hi Stephan,

yes, and in fact I think there is a recommendation to do that in the full user manual

I will remove the magnet and cut the antenna to 68 mm
