In the instructions it mentions a tool being available to analyze tracks, can someone please point me to where I can get hold of this?
Thanks

Just to add some more information; I was trying to use PAW with my nexus7 on Saturday, and was getting an error when attempting to connect skydemon. I wanted to check the PAW was working and spotting traffic ok, I had the vertical limit set to 3000' which should be enough as I was flying around Ockham. I've since realised I hadnt changed the air connect key in SD, so that explains why it wasnt connecting.

Mo0g,
For reference you can check the PAW bit is working by going to the homepage usually 192.168.1.1 and clicking on one of two tabs.
Traffic, will show a list of all the traffic PAW can see.
Radar, will give you a visual display.
Both of these are independent of and Nav software, or any other software for that matter.
Now you have corrected the SD connection issue you can go the PAW Tracks tab and play back the track fro Saturday. Then switch to SD connect to FLARM. then you should see what you should have seen on Saturday.

Does the PAW need everything connected up during the replay to show traffic.. ie is the traffic replay disabled if the aerial/antennas are disconnected?
If not, I have already replayed the flight and saw no traffic info, hence the reason for wanting to analyse the track logs.
-
I have opened the trk file in notepad++ and I can see traffic in there, so I know that was working.
The other question that now raises is; is the traffic logged as per the SD settings - ie only within 3000' height difference, or does the trk capture everything it sees and SD filter out stuff outside its settings.
Would still like the track analysis app too :)

The PAW knows nothing of the SD settings.

Mo0g,
Have you confirmed that SD is no displaying live traffic?
-
I have tested again this morning, when I replay the track I can see LHR and Gatwick traffic. I dont know if I was zoomed in too far previously, or I can now see traffic in SD because I have all the dongles connected.
Anyhow, is this to be expected.. I know there was non-commercial activity around fairoaks, and would expect movements at biggin and farnborough, even though it was early on Saturday.. ADSB warnings at least?
-
when you play back, disconnect the ADSB dongle or you will get a mix of live and recorded traffic.
I am not surprised you did not see much GA. ADSB is still not being adopted by all GA. The vast majority are Mode C or Mode S at best. Some have FLARM but there are many who have nothing because they have no power for a transponder. There are also those who won't turn it on!
Make sure both your PAW and SD are configured to show Mode C and Mode S warning rings. But treat the warnings with caution until you get a feel for the bearingless targets, and fine tune the range settings in PAW
The lack of GA without any device is on of the drivers behind the PAW project

Sorry, yes, I meant the bearingless warnings which are the mode s/c settings.
I did have these configured, but I'm not 100% I reenabled this when I got back my faulty unit and reinstalled everything. I will check, as that would explain it.
Thanks
