Hi all. New owner. Quick question :)
I have been watching and waiting the website for the Tuned Low Profile Antenna to come back into stock for weeks. I have emailed in asking when it's likely but had no reply.
I found this on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01HZANEGY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3JCA5SA5BHFK7
It 'looks' to be an alternative but I'm not entirely sure about frequencies. The official dipole is said to be 869.5 MHz and this claims to be 433 MHz.
Does that mean it's not long enough? Or does it just mean it will have degraded performance if I use it?
Has anyone else found an alternate? I think this arrangement would fit better in my aircraft.
Thanks in advance.

Hi BNHE
No unfortunately this antenna will not be any good as it is for 433MHz. So it will have a degraded performance.
Search for one at 868MHz and make sure it has an SMA connector on it.

Hi,
better than that, the tuned low profile antenna is back in stock at the official Hardware site.

and just to round out the replies, the 433 MHz antenna would actually be too long, rather than being too short.
