Dear All
I am setting up my new unit (dynamic IP through ethernet) which is working fine, however when I check for an update it shows that PilotAware Version (20161201) is available.
When I click to update, it goes back to the home screen and doesn't actually update.
I tried via USB, it detects the new version but doesn't update and even wiped the microSD card and reinstalled from the website, but it always just shows that the installed version is PilotAware Version (20161124).
Any suggestions please? Does 20161201 actually exist?

Yes our bad :-(
The version and datestamp were not quite consistent.
You have updated to the correct version.
We have a new release imminent, hopefully this weekend and the datestamp / version are consistent

Yes this is (erroneously) correct.
It was a small error on the release, the process thinks the version is not what it really is, and therefore tells you it must update.
apologies for the confusion, this will be corrected shortly
