Title: MinIMU-9 AHRS
Post by: Easy Cruising on December 02, 2016, 03:48:57 pm
It's a different use-case to the traffic information but imho it would be interesting to have a backup attitude indicator without having to pay thousands. For raspberry pi I saw this:

Seems to cost $20 and be really small. Could this be something to integrate into PAW ?

Looks nice - and maybe as an addition to providing a backup AI in flight, if integrated with PAW it could also allow complete track logs to be created and downloaded for post-flight analysis - latitude, longitude and altitude are great, but roll, yaw, pitch, heading and G-load as well would make post-flight aerobatic analysis more complete.
