Gentleman
Had Senior persons mis-handling of PAW and Battery Pack and dropped it onto Hangar concrete floor.
The PAW Aerial broke its fall but removed the hard wired socket from PCB including copper pads!
Looks beyond repair.
Can I purchase a Bridge as a replacement. I have a License and it will be fitted to existing RPi.
Regards
Gerry

Ouch. My home made PAW has nuts on the SMA connector, either side of the plastic end piece, lock-nut fashion, to try to protect the soldered connection with the PCB. Is the shop-bought PAW built like this?

I tried to break the connector off a scrap board earlier.
Wow! I couldn't physically do it ! Must have been an unlucky strike.
Anyway, I'm in contact with Gerry who wants to try a self repair, we've offered to repair it and test it for him.
All good
Dave.

PAW strong but was attached by velcro to 12000mA Power Pack. Bizarrely the Power Pack was above PAW Unit when it struck ground.
Have tried a repair but not tested yet. If no good will return to Dave.

Gerry
