I have just upgraded to the latest software version 20160820 and have found that when I try to connect via Flarm, I get the message "Failed to establish a connection with the Butterfly Connect unit"
I am using the Nexus tablet and the PilotAware without a GPS dongle. It was working fine with the last edition of the software.
There has also been a recent Skydemon software update for Android so could it be an issue with that?

PilotAware without a GPS dongle
It is a requirement to have a GPS Dongle, you must have been running a very old version

I have now found the problem, I had not input my new licence number after just fitting the new shield.
I had not realized that the system now requires a dedicated GPS input as before it was using my tablet to supply the data.

I thought I disabled the code for GPS sharing, but give it a go, I may be wrong.
The recommendation is a GPS dongle
Thx

Thank you Lee, I think that you must have now as it doesn't share anymore. I have ordered a dongle
Kind regards, Michael
