Title: Wi-fi issues on Pilotaware FX
Post by: a1650772 on June 18, 2025, 10:21:33 pm
I have been having a couple of issues with Wifi connection:

(1) I connect to Pilotaware network on my phone and through Pilotaware setup at 192.168.1.1 I connect to my home broadband for iGrid but I don't get iGrid connection. However, internet works on the phone through the Pilotaware indicating Pilotaware is connected to the home broadband. iGrid status remains red on status page.

(2) When away from home, I don't seem to be able to get Pilotaware to show any Wifi networks when I scan for networks even when I know there are several in close proximity.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Is your home router on the same subnet as the PilotAware fixed address? Does your home router use the 192.168.1.x subnet?

Are the networks you know of on 2.5GHz?

Does your phone have the password for your home WiFi?

Home router is not on the same subnet

The wifi networks are on 2.4ghz but only show up sometimes on the scan

The phone does have password for home wifi.

The fourth light on the FX is blue, which I believe indicates no connection to iGrid server. But I can browse internet through the Pilotaware wifi connection indicating it is connected to internet through my home broadband.

Also when I connected to my iphone hotspot I get the same - no igrid connection.
