Title: Rosetta "await radio start"

flew to Gloucester today PaW / SkyDemon worked fine
couldn't connect SkyDemon for flight back :(
took the unit home
powered it up here
can connect to unit over its WiFi, but still can't connect SkyDemon
logging shows "(14:02:09) MAIN    : Await Radio Start"
note the actual time is 16:59!!
is something broken?
how do I fix it?
what else do you need?

Not sure that the times are relevant. The Pi does not have a Real Time Clock(RTC) and battery. IIRC after booting it talks to the satellites and will then set its self. Until then  it has no idea what the time is. and will use a default date and time.

Can you supply a screenshot of the config page after it has been running for a while in view of the sky?

regret to inform(!!!) damn things working now!
wonder if the unit just got too hot
will try in the plane again
consider closed for now  :D

That message refers to communication between the main board and the radio on the bridge
Unlikely to be heat related

Is this classic or Rosetta?
Make sure the bridge is seated comfortably

it's a Rosetta
will check the bridge is properly seated
as mentioned above, it does seem to be working now, but no harm in checking
