Title: PAW with SkyDemon
Post by: rblaksley on March 07, 2020, 02:18:54 pm
Please forgive me if this is an ignorant question from a relatively new user (or if it is in the wrong forum). When using PAW with SkyDemon, I find that the PAW 'Radar' box at bottom right obscures the SkyDemon  'Make Approach' box, rendering the latter inaccessible. How can I turn off the 'Radar' function, or move it so as to get to the 'Make Approach' item underneath?

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

Richard

Hi Richard
I think this is a question for the SkyDemon team I’m afraid
PilotAware only provides the data, SkyDemon decides the
Layout and presentation
Thx

Many thanks, and I will of course try that - but I was rather hoping that someone else on this forum might once have had the same question and already figured out the answer. Perhaps I should have posted it in the 'General' section - but as I say, I'm afraid I'm new to this.

All the best

Richard

Richard,

What display device are you using?

The RADAR box at the bottom right of the screen is SkyDemon Radar not PAW Radar. It certainly shouldn’t obscure the rest of the screen though.  You can make it bigger (and of course smaller again) by tapping on the RADAR screen and choosing ‘Toggle Radar Size’.

See page 89 of the SkyDemon User Manual here......    http://skydemon.aero/help/manual.pdf

Hope this helps

Peter
