Tommorrow-Saturday 29th, I will be going to Firs Farm (west Berkshire), dept Abergavenny at 10:00 bst

Anyone else out and about, would be handy if you could mention where/when and we can all keep an eye out for each other and test our units

Yes some one will be about in area Not sure whether my ARF Unit is working but I will switch everything on.
I'm getting airborne from White Ox Mead, 4 miles SW of Bath around 10.30 local.
It's a short 20 minute flight to Lydeway for Village Fly in.
I'll be returning home around 16.30 and will be airborne for at least 30 minutes.

Hello Dave, not sure when I'm doing the return trip, but amended outwards trip due to the Reds being about, so should be within range of you about 10:30 ish, will take a screenshot if I pick you up

Cool, what height were you Russ.
That is 4200ft below you, so I presume on the ground ?

Not sure that is me. Sounds daft but I cannot remember leaving it all on?
Maybe someone else there was using it.
Will check it out again with someone else local.

Mystery solved.
It was Cessna 182 with ADS-B output. N681EW.
This aircraft is based at Lydeway.

Who is going to the LAA Rally this weekend ?
Probably a good chance for some of us to test our new built units in a live environment, against other PilotAware units. I tested my unit on Tuesday, on a drive from Sheffield to Burton & back, and it picked up loads of commercial traffic, especially around EMA, but this doesn't 'prove' the transmit capability of the unit, I need another PilotAware to 'see' me for that.
I will be going by car on the Friday, and I'm looking forward to meeting Lee who I understand will be in the home build tent. I'll turn on  my unit on the drive there from Leicester, hope to get there about 10:30
I am also hoping to fly in on Saturday (weather permitting) from Gamston, with a friend in a Europa, but I am not sure of his time slot. If I get it today, I'll edit my post.

Hi Richard,
If all goes well, I plan to have a PilotAware running on the stand at the show.
Assuming I can get good locations for Antenna, if you let me know what time you plan to arrive,
we will certainly keep a lookout for you

Well, I'm at St. Omer and tried my PilotAware from Hunsdon to Headcorn & then from Headcorn to here. It worked! Given the problems I've had with drop outs, I was (pleasantly) surprised, to say the least! Only lost the GPS signal as I landed at Headcorn. Other than that no probs! Of course, I only saw CAT displayed........
