Title: Anyone using Nexus 7 Gen 1 with SD (&PA)
Post by: peteD on February 05, 2019, 03:24:16 pm
Just upgraded SD(3.11.2) on the above, now I get screen freeze, but only when connected to PA.
Anyone else using same?
OK when reverting to 3.11.1  :(

Hi Pete / All,

I recall several Mk I (2012) Nexus 7 users had connectivity problems related to WiFi strength - it was often too strong if the PilotAware and Nav Device were close together. It would be worth trying adjusting the WiFi strength in ‘Network’ tab. Make small adjustments up/down and check to see if performance improves after each adjustment - remembering that PAW needs a reboot for network adjustments to take effect.

Regards

Peter

Locks up with gld 90 and flarm, giving "sd has stopped, wait, ok" options.
Wifi is already set fairly low,(5mW) and worked with previous versions of sd. So should be ok?
Thanks
Pete
P.S. Have sent crash logs to SD

UPDATE

Seems I can get it to lock up in planning mode if I scroll enough....so not PA specific
