Title: Keith Vinning of PilotAware - Awarded the LAA Peter Clarke 2017/18

Many congratulations to Keith Vinning who has been awarded the Peter Clarke Trophy for contributions to air safety by the LAA at the AGM on 22/Oct/2017.

This is in recognition of the hard work that Keith has put into the OGN-R (Open Glider Network Re-Broadcast) over the last 9 Months, to promote air safety between the Gliding and Powered communities. Keiths personal target is to get 50 OGN-R stations up and running by the end of the year, if he meets his target I will treat him to well earned breakfast in the Cafe at Wellesbourne  ;)

Special thanks also go out to Pawel Jalocha and Guy Glover from the OGN community for their great support on this initiative, without whom I don't think would have been possible. Thanks also to the many champions who have been helping with installations throughout the country.

Congratulations Keith, well deserved. Not just for OGN, but being willing to trot all over the place for presentations on PAW.

Good to know that some reasonably thinking people, who should know what they are talking about, can see some merit in what Keith, and the rest of the PilotAware crew, are trying (and largely succeeding) to achieve.  ;D
