Technical Support / Re: Suitable battery pack?
« on: March 10, 2018, 01:45:04 pm »
I fitted it in a HiFi-Berry Raspberry Pi case (€ 16,49).
Now I'm ready to test it in the air. On the ground it works fine.

I was looking for a solution without a separate battery pack. I installed an UGEEK UPS Battery Hat in my Raspberry Pi and it works fine. With a 2500 mAh battery is works for about 2 hrs, but of course you can install a bigger battery (e.g. 3800 mAh) and even connect the Anker battery pack for additional power.

See attachment how it fits.

Thanks for trying to help me.
What are the right settings in the Configure menu for Mode-C/s Separation, Mode C/S Detect and Mode C/S Select?
The vertical proximity setting in EasyVFR is 40000 ft.

Although the ‘Traffic’ tab shows traffic in 192.168.1.1., it is not displayed in EasyVFR or Air Navigation Pro.
Every FLARM setting according the manual.
I use an iPad Air with internal GPS.

Thanks everybody.
Fortunately, the cost of an extra Raspberry 2B in comparison with the rest of the cost of flying is not the end of the world.

Technical Support / Cannot find WiFi HotSpot
« on: January 11, 2017, 07:45:05 pm »
I have my own PilotAware built with:
- Raspberry 3 Model B (with internal wifi)
- PilotAware Bridge PA013945
- PilotAware.20161201 software on a formatted 16 GB SanDisk Ultra
- Nooelec NESDR Nano 2
After starting up no PilotAware-B827xxxxxxxx hotspot is built.
For example Stratux software succeeds to give a Stratux hotspot, so the wifi works.
Please help.
