Thanks for the advice.  It was indeed loose connections.  I unplugged everything and then reattached them and it works now.

I might have found the problem in the home page the date is showing as Saturday 19th June.  Everything else looks Ok, volts OK, licence in date, latest version.  How do I change the date?  My iPad is showing the correct date.

Getting a message on SD "GPS signal lost" and it doesn't connect.  This happened at the weekend when flying and I used the location service on SD and then checking again this morning I get the same message when checking it outside. It connects to PAW on the iPad and can use location services on SD.  What is wrong?

I had a new license key which I input when I received it and it did work on the ground.  I will be flying over to Rotterdam on Sunday so I will try it then and see if it works.

Looking at the logging page this morning it has a message "License fail for echo ......"

Do I need to re-input the license?

Technical Support / Rosetta connection problem
« on: February 07, 2019, 06:08:33 pm »
I upgraded from the Classic to the Rosetta and tried it for the first time today having had the plane in maintenance since I upgraded.  I get the wifi connection link but then the connection shows an orange message "no internet connection" on the iPad settings page.  I tried it on two different iPads with the same result.  I am using SD as the product to show PAW and previously had no problems.  What am I doing wrong?

The antenna seems to have been the problem.  Swapped for a new one and all working perfectly now.

A big thank you to all at PAW for a very professional and quick solution to my problem.  They responded immediately and sent out a new antenna.

This sort of service is not usually the case in aviation so they deserve a big thank you for excellent customer service.

Regards

John

Technical Support / PAW stopped recognising targets
« on: July 27, 2017, 01:45:13 pm »
I have been using PAW for several months successfully but recently it started seeing targets intermittently and now doesn't see any at all.  It did get quite hot one day on the coaming and I wonder if this might be the problem.  I have checked that all the lights are working correctly, red power is on and continuous, red and green lights flash and it is seeing satellites.  I have changed settings to be less sensitive and still not working.  Any one have a solution or recommendation to get it working?
