I would like to have may Rosetta displayed over the Glyder network, such as https://www.gliderradar.com/
If I understood correctly, I have to register my device on the OGN database.
This should be done compiling the form. Please help me explaing what I should select for

Device Type:

I was wondering how st*atux can legally decripts FL*RM encoded trasmission, now I understood. ???
I support your your point of view.

It seems that ST*ATUX implemented the FL*RM receiver functionality

htt ps://github.com/b3nn0/str.tux/relea ses

May be Rosetta will do the same in the future? It will be useful for the airspaces not covered by OGN-R stations.
Here in Italy, flying in the mountain areas where no OGN-R covering is possible but where you can often suddendly encounter some gliders, this functionality would be very useful

I experienced something similar.
If i put the Rosetta very near to the radio antenna, I hear the data burst when Rosetta transmits, aproximately every two seconds.
Try move the Rosetta, or its remote antenna if it has it,  in a different position.

So, if adsb does noto work properly, the txp will ne read as a not postional modeS and tracked by mlat, i suppose.
And ,maybe, clive adsb out is not being read by PAW because there is not adsb out, or it is incomplete or wrong format.

Hi Mariko,

How do you determine that?

He sees many ADSB with is PAW
He dont sees his own trasponder on PAW
His trasponder is tracked by FR24

If his trasponder is a Trasponder S tracked via MLAT it is exactly what I suppose it has to appen
For this reason I wrote "it appears to be" that, in italian, is like "I suppose, I conjecture". Sorry for my bad english.

It appears to be a MLAT position fixing for FR24.

Ah ok... I dont use the web radar, so maybe I was wrong, sorry
The reason because you dont see anything on the radar screen is that you dont have a fixing from the GPS, so the radar page cannot display relative positions, please control you have a valid GPS position

You filtered out everything more than 1000’ difference from  your altitude

But the aircraft was "not moving", or was itmoving at the same speed and maintening the same distance from you?

They can be replayed using your normal display app (e.g. SkyDemon) by disconnecting the PAW antennas (to prevent interference from live data)
Disconnetting the trasmitting antenna may be dangerous for the trasmitter, i guess

Stuart,
you can replay the entire fly stored in the PAW memory, so you can see again the red dot, if it was generated by Pilotaware.

Dont forget to check the Skydemon configuration.
Skydemon update itself in the past weekend and, as usual, it had lost every PAW related configuration

If I dont use the old memory card, Why formatting the card, and why with that particular tool?
I purchased a brand new microSD and simply copied all the files into that; it seems to work properly.

IME every time SD is updated, the 3rd party settings need checking, as they may get switched off.
I had to do the same.
Every time Skydemon is updated, you must check and configure it properly to get PAW GPS signal and traffic alerts
