I added my tuppence worth.  I'm Caps_Pin_Removed on that site.  (Remove the CAPS pin to arm the parachute before flight.  In case you don't fancy doing the landing yourself.)

I also looked and was unable to place an order.  Presumably Keith means they are back in stock with Pilot Aware but not yet available to order via the web site.  Would be good to know when to check back.

Fantastic Peter.  Reply much appreciated.  Well earned holidays for the guys I suspect.  Really looking forward to getting to the next level with our Rosetta.  Flew with a former AVOM syndicate member during the week who is now in an RV with Pilot Aware and aviation grade antenna.  Couldn't praise it enough so am impatient to get ours sorted.

Keen to install PAW with either internal or aviation grade antenna.  Neither in stock per the web site.  Wondering when they might be available.  No replies from support.  Wondering if there is some sort of generalised issue.   Or has the crap weather and long evenings put everyone off flying for another year!

Actually JCurtis, I think you are perfectly right, I can no longer see any impediment to relying on CS-SC004a (not sure if I was looking at Issue 3 when I thought I had a problem).

I need to get PA fixed in the aircraft.  It works well sitting loose in the back but we are not getting the best value out of it.  My understanding is we have two options; (1) Aviation Grade Antenna installation kit or (2) Internal Antenna Installation kit.  Internal we can do right away as no approval is required but Aviation Grade is the preferred option.  I also understand that a 'blanket' approval will come into effect at year end.  Where can I find details of this to provide to the engineer who will do the work?


CS-SC004a — Installation of antennas (page 16) is not available to us since we already have a transponder in the aircraft.
