Hi Chris,

You need the ARF antenna fitted to pickup traffic on the 869.4Mhz frequency, and you need the DVB-T Antenna fitted to pickup ADS-B (1090Mhz) traffic

Thx

I checked mine was emitting with a scanner.  Produces an audible "zit" on 869.4 WFM.

Is there an easy way to test the ADS-B signal.

So Far i've not seen any other aircraft on Sky Demon..

Plugged it in and set it up in the car on the way in this morning - still nothing.

So its either I'm doing something daft or the ADS-B isn't working.

** addition ""

So looking on the forum - i should be selecting use FLARM for location services ? but then I get stuck with Seeking GPS Satelites... i have an Iphone 6  - GPS works fine if i select use location services.

Any Ideas ?

Chris, two settings to check/change in Skydemon.

a)  Go into Settings/Connectivity Options.  Ensure FLARM is ticked, then change the Air Connect Key at the bottom to 6000 (the default is usually 1234)
b). Go into Settings/Navigation Options.  Scroll down to the bottom, then increase 'Show within vertically' to circa 40,000' in order to see airline traffic.

Oh, and yes, you must start the CollisionAware app.
