General Discussion / ADSB receiver dongle
« on: September 15, 2016, 03:36:05 pm »
I'm on my third ADSB Receiver Dongle - the Mini USB DVB-T RTL-SDR Realtek RTL2832U on the Known Good Hardware list. On the first the aerial connector came loose, the second just stopped working. Has anyone else has problems and is there a more robust solution?

Technical Support / PAW, Dittel KRT2 and audio warnings
« on: September 13, 2016, 04:33:53 pm »
No doubt a radio problem, but perhaps someone else has come across the same PAW interaction. I have a Dittel KRT2 radio with integral intercom, which has a VOX feature which mutes the mike when one is not talking (a “v” is displayed when mike is live). When I feed the Dittel audio input from my Walkman the music is audible at all times (whether or not “v” is displayed), even when I reduce the volume on the Walkman until it is very quiet. However when I replace the Walkman with the PAW audio output I can only hear warnings when the mike is already live (“v” displayed). Stop talking and the PAW warnings stop. Any thoughts?

Technical Support / EasyVFR connection.
« on: July 18, 2016, 10:07:21 pm »
Have just loaded EasyVFR on my Nexus 7 and set up according to the PAW Operating Instructions file. However though I can see traffic on the Chrome PAW page, the GPS Fix symbol on EasyVFR has not changed to GPS Flarm. Any ideas? I note on an earlier message that someone is using 6002 rather than 6001 as the WiFly Pin-Code - which is correct?

Technical Support / SOLVED! - Audio warning connections
« on: May 24, 2016, 11:10:36 am »
Someone recently (and I can't find where) identified the RPi TRRS socket connections as Tip/L, Ring 1/R, Ring 2/Ground, Sleeve/Video. However what does PAW actually use for audio warnings? Is it mono/stereo/common? Which connections?
