Technical Support / Software Update
« on: December 11, 2016, 05:29:49 pm »
Ok so i have 2 fully licensed PAWS. Update both using USB last night and checked both and all ok at home. Went flying today and found that my primary one did not work with Butterfly connect error and a bunch of red squares on the home page..... the second one works fine. Now back home, thinking well just maybe one cannot use the same USB software update for multiple PAWS updates :o although my instinct says this should not be an issue. Reload the software onto USB stick, re-do the update and still issues. I then notice that it says that my license has expired - how on earth does this happen?? Keith what do i do now?

General Discussion / Running and Set UP
« on: October 06, 2015, 11:39:54 am »
    Hello

    So a few questions:
    • With the GPS dongle in the PA does the Ipad running SD also use this for its GPS info or is it just PA using this ? I normally use a GNS1000 GPS unit via Bluetooth with my Ipad when flying with SD to improve GPS data.
I have extracted all the info on the zip file for PA software and copied and pasted all of that onto my SD card. Is that correct ? All works well but I suspect that when I fire up each time it goes through the full set up checks....
I want to supply my ModeS Transponder with the GPS info and the Original Build Document shows what leads to buy for this, which I now have. what do I need to do within the unit to make this happen or is it just connect the USB lead? I have attached below my trnspndr wiring info.

    Thanks
    Bryan
