Has consideration been given to making pilotaware work with Garmin Pilot?  I read with interest some US groups getting Stratux to work with Garmin Pilot through the Xplane interface?  Interested to hear any thoughts on this.

Wow, thanks for all the replies.

So three dongles, 2 broken aerials, and one dongle being slightly bent, slightest movement meant it was losing its USB connection, likely because its so tight against the wifi dongle.

Once i'd eliminated the aerials and then the dongles I have one out of three.

Anyway all working fine here, but the screenshot I posted earlier was with the good aerial.

I’m away till Saturday so can’t do much to then, but I tried swapping dongles and aerials, as I said I have three of the same dongles and aerials so tried that idea.

I only reloaded the software as a last resort because I had become so frustrated by it.

I’ll start it up Saturday and film it running shortly and screenshot it.  I’ll try it for all three dongles and all three aerials and try the improvised aerial suggestion in your post and report back.

I have in the interim brought another dongle off eBay which should be at home when I get back Saturday.

Quick reply guys.

The thee dongles are all the known good hardware items. The small form factor items.

I have a second PI with an expired license I could try the dongles on but I’m away till the weekend. I thought this was weird being all there but the results you see are the same regardless of which dongle. I’d be surprised if all three failed, one came from another seller but was the same items.

It has worked flawlessly until this Sunday, post clocks changing, silly idea but not a device time issue?

By way of config I can post on Saturday, but I Downloaded the latest version and clean installed and those screenshots are based on the standard config.

I’m very confused by this.

So I have three of the small adaptors, the one on the known good hardware list, I have tried all three and my PAW won't pick up any traffic.  It shows RED in the admin page.

Anyone else have experiences of the same?

Will they be able to just renew/purchase or will the serial/mac throw an error for a different name/email?

Afternoon all,

Has anyone built an extension lead or found an alternative to the p3i antenna?

I want to mount the pilotaware behind the panel due to limited space and have the GPS mouse but need to try and extend the antenna for the bridge?
