Title: 20220101 not avail for download?
Post by: TimT on January 03, 2022, 06:56:50 pm
Alerted by a notification I was wanting to update, using PAW Firmware Updater (v1.75) on the iPad. The Firmware Updater however insisted that I am up-to-date already (with the N0v 2020) release, and that there was not newer version available.

What could be the problem?

Hi Tim,

A change in Apple iOS/iPadOS 15 platform means that it's preventing the app from downloading the latest version.
An update fixing this issue has been sent to Apple for approval, and will hopefully be available shortly.

In the meantime, please delete the app from your iOS device, and install it again as a fresh copy.

This will make 20220101 available for download.

Cheers,

Ashley

Hi Ashley

I had done so before posting here (based on information from your knowledgeware webpage). To no avail. After delete app, and download/install again, the app version still was v1.75, and the same story about Nov 2020 being the current version.

On the Apple AppStore, it doesn't give a version history for Firmware Updater? What is the current version (of PAW Firmware Update) that I should be looking out for? Is that current version released world-wide (ie, avail on all local App Stores)?

Deleting the Firmware Updater does work. Install the Updater again and away it goes?

Thank you, this time round it worked. Appreciate the newly designed html interface in 20220101.
